Produced for West Virginia Public Broadcasting with Host Trey Kay and Editor Kate Smith. Us & Them is a public radio podcast exploring the issues that divide Americans.
This episode was among many pandemic-era stories I produced for Us & Them. It was early days when we invited a group of people from different political stripes to sit down and have dinner together. They all agreed to meet… on Zoom. They dined and debated the federal and local response to COVID, racial disparities, masking and more, and the episode won a Murrow award for innovation.
My roles: Scriptwriting, research & interview development, sound design, sound editing and mixing, final engineering for broadcast
